On Sunday, Solange Knowles and Saint Records took to the streets of New York City guerilla style for an exclusive pop-up trunk sale for “Saint Heron”: a collaborative compilation album featuring 11 independent artists telling their unique stories on one innovative platform.
The team was accompanied by a custom Lamborghini, exclusively designed by NY-based multi media artist Rashaad Newsome, selling advance physical copies of the album out the trunk in three different locations: Studio Museum in Harlem, Opening Ceremony in SoHo and Habana Outpost in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
Solange rocked Grid Block Tee, Wool-Silk Cropped Pants in Warm Buttercup and a faaabulous AW13 Ratti Tile Coat, all by J.Crew.
Puma Roma Slim Stacked Casual Sneakers in Deep Teal/Blue Grass (available at Nordstrom or Macy’s) completed the look.
Head to Saint Heron for more details about the debut compilation.

Solange Knowles took to her Instagram to share a snap of herself taken during her performance at George Washington University‘s Lisner Auditorium in DC.
She donned a playful Houndstooth & Polka Dot Print Poplin Jumpsuit, look #13 from Thakoon Addition Re14 collection, that was all about “geometry and shape”.

Solange takes us behind the scenes of her latest video “Lovers in the Parking Lot”, featuring a choreographed journey through Houston’s legendary flea market – King’s Best Market, and a cameo by Houston rap legend, Bun B.
Directed by Solange, Peter J. Brant, Emily Kai Bock, and produced by The Creators Project.
The polka-dot pointelle dress she wears, belongs to Moschino Pre-AW13 collection.
You may remember Solange wearing polka-dot pointelle cropped jacket and matching pleated skirt from the same collection during her “Don’t Let Me Down” performance on The Late Show With David Letterman earlier this year.
HERE are the “Lovers in the Parking Lot” fashion credits, if you haven’t seen them yet.

Solange Knowles performed during the Vampire Weekend show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center earlier this month.
The “Lovers in the Parking Lot” singer took the stage in Daryl Top in Plumeria Floral Print and Bythe Pants in Aranthera Wave Wool Silk Twill ensemble from Araks AW13 collection.
The same day, the gorgeous Bianca Golden interviewed Solange for Necole Bitchie.
Solo talked about her passion for songwriting, having a bunch of songs perfect for Mariah Carey, what inspired her to write Beyonce’s “Why Don’t You Love Me” (and more), and showed some more love to the New York based designer RTW and Lingerie label, wearing a colorblock top in Tropic Aranthera Crepe and blue flared skirt from the same collection.
Head to Necole Bitchie for the first part of the exclusive interview!
